Your event starts in our beautiful historic building, perfectly paired with modern amenities such as high-end surround sound, intelligent A/V equipment and a nicely stocked bar. We’ve completely remodeled the entire space, while working hard to preserve the history and charm of a once-prominent, 1800’s grain mill. You will find us tucked behind Lancaster’s historic downtown district, but you won’t find any event space like this in the area! It’s the perfect place for our community to gather as we celebrate the events that shape our lives.
From weddings, galas, corporate events and concerts, we can seat up to 225 guests or up to 300 guests when formal seating isn’t required. We boast a large event space, outdoor covered pavilion, full-service bar and a four-season patio that can be opened to the outside. We know you’ll love this space as much as we do.
I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding ceremony and reception at The Mill Event Center, and I can confidently say that it was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, every moment spent at this remarkable venue was filled with joy, elegance, and exceptional service.
My husband and I got married at The Mill in September 2022 and we could not have asked for a more perfect space for our ceremony and reception! Amanda and Melissa were wonderful to work with – the setup was perfect and the communication put my mind at ease in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding.

Planning a wedding is no small task, but it was 10 times easier to plan our wedding since we had it at The Mill. Amanda, their event manager, brought our vision to life for our wedding day. She was so professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with. She and her staff made our day go so smoothly.

The Mill was a beautiful event space for our inaugural fundraising event, FAIRHOPE Celebrates Life. The staff made planning easy and was always there to answer our questions and assist us in every possible way. We will certainly be back!
Saturday night I played the Mill Event Center in Lancaster, Ohio… just up the road from us. What a beautiful venue! Everything went really well… especially considering as it was their first show. I love this venue and these folks! I’ll play there anytime.
